The Howarth family approached us seeking a spacious garden room gym that would serve as a dedicated fitness space for the entire family. They wanted a robust, purpose-built structure that could accommodate various exercise equipment and withstand the demands of regular workout sessions.

The clients required practical features like increased ceiling height for the fitness machinery and specialised gym flooring.

Solution

We designed an impressive 7.0m x 4.0m garden gym that maximised the ample garden space while creating an inviting and functional fitness environment. The generous dimensions provided plenty of room for multiple exercise zones, including exercise bikes, tredmills and free weights.

To meet the specific requirements of a home gym, we increased the ceiling height to accommodate taller fitness equipment. The installation of specialised gym rubber matting created a durable, impact-resistant floor surface perfect for protecting both the floor and exercise equipment.

The exterior was finished with striking black composite shiplap cladding, creating a bold, contemporary aesthetic that made a statement in the garden while requiring minimal maintenance.
