Client Brief
The client approached us wanting a dedicated garden room gym to accommodate their NordicTrack treadmill and exercise bike.
They also wanted the space to be inviting and light-filled to provide a motivating environment for daily workouts away from the main house.
The garden gym also needed excellent levels of insulation for the clients to use the space all year round – not a problem with our high quality SIP panels containing 100mm of insulation.
Solution
We designed an energy efficient 3.2m x 2.5m garden gym tailored specifically for the client’s desires and fitness equipment.
The installation of 2.1m aluminium bifold doors creates an impressive entrance that can be fully opened to connect the gym with the garden – great for the summer months too, providing plenty of fresh air.
A 600mm floor-to-ceiling side window complements the bifold doors to add even more light.
The exterior features premium Redwood Thermowood cladding that creates a warm, natural aesthetic. This high-performance timber is naturally durable and weather-resistant, requiring minimal maintenance whilst developing a beautiful silvery patina over time.
